And an F 600 too. I don't think there are too many members here with those.

Here's mine (or I should say my buddie's that I'm renting from). 20150103_220613.jpg
Each rack holds about 7-8 days worth of wood.

One in daylight a little furthet back for perspective. Wood comes in the window thats just right of the dart board from underneath the deck.

Another shot from the bottom of the stairs leading to the lower living room. (Split entry home). Its an upside down L shaped living room, if you will, with the stairs on the end of the long leg of the L. (Not a huge fan of the L but its because of the laundry/furnace room. Darn centrally located rarely used furnace!)

Thanks papadave! It's a older home and we did a lot to it in the 3 years we've been here. Hopefully next year we will upgrade from the Quad 2700i to something that can get some longer burn times and then i'll put the Quad in the basement fireplace, just have to get the wife on board with my grand plans:D

    Sounds like a good plan.
Do the up/down fireplaces share the same flue?

Yes they share the same flue. They both have 12" insulated liners down through them the one that has the insert has a 6" liner through it also. Believe it or not for a smaller firebox I think it's 1.8 really heats the upstairs nice! I just wish i could get longer burn times.

Seems to be the lament of most smaller stove owners.
Glad you joined up. We'd love to see more pics of your setup......firewood, saw, etc.

These are great! I'll have to post mine when the time comes in the install. Wonder why this wasn't made as a sticky, dang popular with the photos!
