    Paints flaking off and didn’t do a great braze job but the piece of 3/4” emt made a nice one on my 55 Rancher

    I've noticed paint doesn't seem to stick well to the brazed area. Hasn't on mine anyway.

    Wonder if it’s something to do with the flux in the rods? I noticed the paint flaking off and thought I was losing the weld but it was just paint

    I have to repaint any muffler I've brazed after awhile.
    Never have but i have to.
