Ok, since I don't have glass to view the flames by, I had to improvise, adapt, overcomeheat my slippers Just for you, NH mountain man No one else look
I had a pair of L.L. Bean boat shoes as my slippers before the current pair. Likewise they were very old, warn out and completely crappy but I loved em...somebody threw them out when I wasn't around. Now I'm stuck with this cheap Chinese pair, I even asked for a new ll bean pair for Christmas...musta been bad cuz it didn't happen.
I've had many pairs over the years. These are the Crocs I got for Christmas a couple years ago. I still miss my hard soled leather mocs. I should get another pair. Just noticed, I think there may be some sawdust in there............
These are my well worn ukala brand slippers. They are at least 4 years old and I wear them all the time. They are comfy, and I wear them outside on the patio getting wood from the stack I put there every fall. Here they are enjoying a few splits of shag in the quadrafire.
Good lord, its about time Eric VW. with you being the slipper ringleader i would have expected this long ago.....
I hate slippers. But these Red Wings feel like slippers, assuming i ever wore a pair of slippers to know what that's like....
Where's the flame? Sooooo..... guess I know someone who might be getting a late Secret Santa pair of slippahs
Slipping on a pair of comfy slippers is the best way to chill out after a long day at work. It lets the tension out of the spring, so to speak. A nice choochin' fire doesn't hurt either.
Thats the cool part, they keep the flames in Walla Walla Washington, IDK how they do it but its cool.
My wife's beautiful pottery, my ugly slippers and a nice big load of black birch in the stove. Thankful!
