What so you plan on doing with your rifle and in what environment? Does it need to be durable? Cold weather? How much light and how much distance will you be using it for? Price range?
I have a leupold for my 45-70 but that is for things under 200 yards. I bet if you started with those answers, others might have suggestions.
I think Vortex has a good value but maybe you would pay more for some added features.

I'm actually a big fan of Vortex,
It's going to be more of a range/ammo burner, may ride around in the truck for a yote gun. Being a shorter rifle it's probably never going to see more the. 100 yards.
I have more then enough hunting rifles for hunting, few 30-06s, few .308s, got a bolt action .450 bushmaster last year.
So don't really need a huge amount of zoom. More a wider view, fast Target actuation for all weather.
As far as budget, I'm hoping cheap... This may have been a sper of the moment thing that I probably should have bought :rofl: :rofl:

I've got a BSA cateye IR ( 4x12 w a 50 mm objective I think) on mine. It's a great scope for what it cost when new, and I had it laying around. I believe it was on my Dad's 300 win mag, so it can handle a lot of recoil. It works well. Screenshot_20211020-150245(1).png

You should buy/ build one. They are fun guns. Ammo is still cheaper than pretty much any other round for Ar's.

Buy a jig and build your own lower. Add on whatever brand of upper you want. There's a couple of things with AR-47'S that you'll need to pay attention to, especially if you want to shoot hard military primers that come in the steel cased ammo. The biggest thing is finding the right mags, but I've already done that research for you. ;)

I've got the AR rifle in 5.56, if the lower fits. I might as well see if just putting some things together for it as a swap out. It's a multi caliber lower built from Hardened Arms. They did go out of business but nothing said their products were terrible so they were likely solidly made. The rifle I've got has a long barrel. In fact I think its the same length as yours above. I've put some steel in it, it has got stuck in the chamber but big whoop, it was brand new and I've not shot much through it yet. I'm damm ready to though. Thanks !

Yeah, just get a 16" x39 upper and slap it on. Some are better than others for this caliber You might need to put different trigger springs if you've got a milspec trigger but those springs really make the stock trigger much much nicer. They made mine feel like a $100+ drop in trigger. Lighter trigger pull, no creep, and harder primer strikes. Best $10 I've spent on this gun.

That trigger probably the number one thing I wanna get changed, it's not "terrible" but I'd like it to not move even in safe mode. Other than a red dot sight, I like keeping my AR platform pretty plain.

She's not to hard on the eyes... Scope isn't mounted yet, just sitting there for the photo, also have a holographic red dot that I may put on it instead or it can mount to the top of the scope for a dual set up

    Are those pro mag, mags?

Lmk how those work, I haven't heard anything good about them for this particular caliber/ gun. Then again all I hear is that pro mag's suck, yet the pro mag's for my mini14 work great. Idk.

Got ammo for it? If not, or you want more, I have some places that have great prices on it. The best pieces I've seen in a good year.

They are pro mags, they had a ton of good reviews so time will tell... Honestly they were on sale and to good of a price so of they don't work I won't be out much and can get some better mags.

I would very much be interested in the places for ammo.
