    Guy in town called a bee keeper he knows. He got the bees. Saw the log where the bees were a bit cut up with a saw...the hollow end.

    That happened maybe 2 weeks after I posted this.

    I still havent got time yet to grab it. I will post pics though.

    But the bees should have a winter home now in a relocated hive.

    Yea I like bees. If I wanted another hobby I did quickly consider it yrs ago. I dont fear them and just get along with them. My wife...hates them!!

    When I was in grad school and we lived across the street from a guy that kept bees I swear we had the most productive garden ever. My garden was 100 yards or so from like 4 of his hives. He was a cool guy. Gave me honey each year and was just a good guy.
