Walmart. Amazon.com, lots of retail places. Family dollar, dollar general. They also sell them at like CVS, walgreens etc they make a people version for like folks that are incontinent or bed ridden people. There bed pads or something. Basically its the same material thats in diapers.

Really its expensive to dispose of oil?? Here in SC its free at recycle centers or places like Orileys, auto zone or advance auto parts. It encourages you to recycle and not dump it. Also some places buy waste oil for refinining or waste oil burners.

I use the pads so that I can set the saw anywhere that I choose without the added space being taken up by the pan. if I have a tractor that leaks or a tiller I just slide one under. I also use the pads on my work bench when tearing down a saw so that the crud doesn't get all over the bench and can be easily thrown in the trash. works great for building carbs. you can lay the carb parts out on the pad and clean them easily.

I cleaned the garage a bit a few nights ago. I found tools I forgot I had been sitting in a hidden spot for a couple years.

I was going to go out and buy more shrink tubing for a wiring project since I had ran out. Well I found a drawer stuffed full of it.

Are those the stall mat things they sell at tsc for like $20-40? I know guys who buy them for truck bed mats. Takes a circle saw to cut them.

  You should see how anal I am about organization in the tool dept of my shop.... My wife helps clean the garage / shop because I stress out when it gets bad except it's not really bad. It takes her 25 minutes to put away stuff in my labeled bins and drawers! Love that women:yes:

WOW! Another strong AWESOME for a shop - absolutely beautiful. I'm going in the opposite direction - I'm glad I don't have that shop - I'd never leave and lose my real job! Cheers!

This is what I use. 23x36". I guess they are they same as "puppy pads"?

They are known as "chucks" at any place that sell medical supplies. They work great for saws, carbs, cleaning guns, etc. They are absorbent enough to hold any fuel you spill or dump out of a chainsaw and the plastic backing doesn't let any mess get on your bench. Roll it up and chuck it when your done.

Wow, very nice Shop KRL! So much for ever starting a show your Shop thread. No one can follow that. Wait, had it been done already?
Except for maybe in size. I have a big Shop that's tidy at best half the time. Yours looks like a nice cabin in the woods some where.

I wish it was in the woods somewhere! It is empty now because of the new floor installation project, but once all my stuff is back in there it gets pretty cramped. I am trying to figure out a better layout and how to provide more storage for parts, tools and customer saws.
