It works really slick Oldman47 and by getting that wet bark off there of course it jump starts the drying process. Below are pics of one day in 80 degree heat resting on a black plastic bedliner...regret shoulder has not allowed me to unload yet...but try it sir, I think you'll be impressed-You could use a hammer but on this tree and tighter spots just took a slight tap of hand to the back and peeled it right off!
That sucks , your shoulder is mucked up , hope ya feel better quick. That's just a regular wonder bar you're using on the bark , right ? good idea
Yes sir, I just happened to think of it before leaving knowing this tree likely would be ready to separate from its bark...as the last ash I bucked cut at the same time...Thank you for the well wishes, I go to ortho doc tomorrow
Just trying again, for years now running to make it to Jan.-I have too much work and too many hobbies to be disabled in the summer but I feel I've pushed it past a band-aid this time..Like I said, I've been through it once on the L side already 9 yrs ago and its not something I'd wish on anyone but I cant function like this at all...talking cant reach razor in cab,, turn on a light, put car in drive, etc without lifting it with the left hand, maybe cortisone injection will buy time- We'll leave it up to the Wizard, thats my doc-a dedicated bowhunter and golfer himself...Your prayers are appreciated-I at least need to make til schools out for at least initial help for about a week...Best to all and I know how fortunate I am-no whining here-Now go hoard!
I am sorry to hear this; best wishes that you can quickly recover so you can enjoy the summer. Big Hugs.
Yeah, Big hugs was really thought out for a shoulder injury.... Nope. Don't think so. Although, we did bring a bottle of door peninsula concord wine down to the cottage. Just never drank any of it!
Wine is just like firewood my friend of the U.P., yooperdave -some is just better than others...but all is good to some degree...And thanks for the wishes Ms. Kimberly , just hug me around the ribs-lol-I appreciate the kind words and trust this finds you well and the beast fine-tuned, gonna be hot soon so better hoard now
It won't be long now Ashwatcher until that hot sunshine will help that shoulder too. I hope it is fast healing.
Sorry to hear about the shoulder. Nice landscape around you and glad you enjoyed the ms261. I was torn between that one and the 550xp...got the Husqy but still curious anout the stihl.
Hoping as time goes by, as it has been a few days, you are feeling better. Take it slow! Hopefully news from the wizard is positive. Follow the Yellow Birch Road.
Suspected total tear of the rotator cuff tendon, MRI 17 April,,,I can't even begin to express the appreciation for all the well wishes and prayers-I thank God every day for letting my feet touch the floor-I'll be fine, tougher than a $2 steak but the pain is excruciating and I appreciate you all so much-I just need to make it to December-I have too much grass to cut, hillsides to mow and you cant find good help here...entitlement syndrome like everywhere else-they are either a drunk, pill head or waiting on the check...I gave up a long time ago, just do myself-Blessings to all my brothers and sisters....
After I'm done helping Horkn and schlot stopping by Eric VW for a visit, I'll point the green truck in your direction and give you a hand! Heel fast.
That is one cool truck, I'll be watching for it...hoping for a surplus auction here on state vehicles in the near future since they have reigned in an out of control fleet of vehicles...maybe a 3/4 ton from highways or forestry
Well, if we were closer, I'd happily come and mow that grass for you. While I was there I could even give you a much needed lesson in splitting wood too!
