It's a very strange sight seeing a shed slowly being filled with wood while it's simultaneously being constructed...:emb:   All kidding aside, it's looking pretty awesome Brad. Like mentioned before, the uniformity in your work is impressive

    Its only 1/3 full! ;)

Roof will go on once it dries up some. Slowly turning into a mud pit back there. I have a rolled up steel pool ill cut three pieces from. 52" wide IIRC. No more free steel roofing around and at $50 each this cheapskate aint buying any.

The frozen ground was my motivator. Id have to wheelbarrow wood back there instead. Not fun. Plus I was behind in my bundle wood inventory and with a couple new clients I need to get it drying. With my new source for wood it should fill on a steady basis. I'd like to have the center filled by Memorial day.

If I was working the hours you put in at your job I doubt I'd have one row of wood stacked. Plus you have Ms. Carol to pick up your slack! :D

I regret not completing more when I built the original part prior to filling it up. The divider wall is messed up and I have to redo it! Seems I'm always a step or ten ahead of where I should be.

So when is your addition going on? ;) Shouldn't be any wood in the way now?

She hasn't been able to help as much as she used to. She's been helping with 2 of our grandsons more than usual and her left knee is giving her problems, got an appointment Monday to get it checked...

No work on the new part but did some alterations to get the middle bay ready and started stacking. Sugar & silver maple, paper birch and some tulip poplar in the stack. View from the back side. IMG_7015.JPG Front view. IMG_7016.JPG Nice to have it ready to go as I produce inventory.

I'm still blown away how tightly stacked and perfect that far right side is. That would make an excellent desktop background.

Thanks. Im amazed that it has shrunk maybe 3/4" already. No tilting yet. Good breeze blows across the back yard there.

Just noticed that myself. Brad you ever consider doing any dry stonewalls? There’s a lotta money to be made for a good stone stacker
