    I tend to send out any "simply dull" blades to a semi local shop (Paris All-Sharp), then when Paris won't sharpen them anymore (too many sharps, cracks, rust, etc) I do them myself. Once a blade sharpened my me stops cutting well right after sharpening, they go in the scrap bin.
