Ended up snowing just a little bit but then it started accumulated as slush on the roads. Saw a car in the ditch where there is always trouble when the roads get slippery....people just can't figure that one out I guess. Yes, the snow plows were out again!

Well Seasoned , do you have anything recent on the storm coming in? I haven't seen any recent wind reports.

Our wet trend will continue. All water is moving fast. Some areas still flooding from all this rain and higher elevation snow melt

Yes it does. All the rivers (Lake Ontario too) around here are high, Lake Ontario is 24 inches above normal, the St.Lawrence River down at a certain area is 27 inches above normal and down at Montreal it's 47 inches above normal.

From April 7th to today, May 7th, we've recieved just under 9 inches of rain and its currently pouring. This is based off of my weather station. Supposed to rain all this week too. Way above average, basically got 3 months of rain in 1 month.

In general terms, here is an outlook for the region through the weekend:

    • Friday: The best chance of rain is along and south of the Mason-Dixon line in the mid-Atlantic states, Appalachians and Ohio Valley. Showers are possible in other parts of the interior Northeast.
    • Saturday: Low pressure may develop near or off the mid-Atlantic coast. The best chance for rain is along the coast from the mid-Atlantic states to southern New England, extending inland to New York state. Winds may increase along the coast, and coastal flooding is possible north of the low if it develops.
    • Mother's Day: The area of low pressure may hover off the southern New England coast. The best chance for rain/wind is from New England westward into upstate New York.

That's for sure, we've had plenty of rain over the last 60 days.

Originally they called for 1.47" on Sunday alone. Between later today, tomorrow, and Monday morning, we'll see at least an inch.
