NYS is bad too, the only way you can build a dam is if your a beaver. By the looks of a swamp not far from here that is next to State route 56, the beaver dam will have to be blown up or the road will flood. I think the DEC or either the town did it about five or six years ago because it was flooding out a driveway and getting close to a home, went to work in the morning and it was full but when I came home it was bone dry.

That went through here over the last 2 days. winds were up and down , Creeks and such topping out at the banks so some flooding is occurring here and there.

Looks like it’s worse over your way but we’re getting some pretty heavy winds here too, gusts up to 65. Had to retrieve my mailbox from a little ways down the road after work and we just lost power about 20 mins ago.

Under a severe thunderstorm warning until 9:30. Lightening, winds up to 60mph & nickle sized hail possible. I see the line on radar, won't be long until it gets here.

High wind warning from midnight tonight through 8 am tomorrow morning.

Gonna be a long night here!

Massive wind last night and about a minute of hard, driving rain. Rain stopped, wind didn't. Now it is just breezy with what the local news is calling 26 mph gusts. Should calm down some in the next hour or so. Hope so because I will be participating in a ride with a big group of people and big wind is not conducive to formation riding.

We had pretty substantial thunderstorms last night. There was some hail, but only pea sized. The winds were bad during the storm and we received 0.91" of rain in about an hour. Things calmed down and we never lost power.

1:15 a.m. the winds they were talking about came. I woke up quite a few times, but no damage as far as I can tell.

Leaving for work in an hour, we'll see what the outside world looks like.

Are you still w/o power Woody?
