NOAA is calling for another 6 inches of snow overnight for our area, my guess would be a total of 15 inches in the last two days.

Driveway had about 2" of snow on it when I left yesterday morning (I had snow blown Tuesday evening) and it had about 1.5" on it yesterday afternoon (obviously I'm in the sun-deprived area too). Shoveled the berms from the morning's road plowing and roof dumpage when I got home. Then it started snowing huge flakes. Another 1.5" of snow on the ground this morning.

I just want the driveway to clear before the next real storm.

I don't think we'll get much from this storm but next Thursday is a long way off.

We did get another 7 inches (my estimate) overnight so I had plenty seat time plowing and then pushing back the banks in certain areas for more room so if we get more storms we'll have room.

Yes we do, I already have one if not two areas that will be opened up by next fall for snow. It's nice that the banks are soft, easy pushing.

I just came back in from plowing our neighbor and then I decided to open up some trails for walking for the wife, it was some tough pushing since I didn't do it after the first good snowfall this week but it's done.

I did get a trail plowed to the wood stack we're getting our firewood from so maybe we'll put some firewood in tomorrow.

It looks like we'll be getting sun everyday starting on Saturday until the following Saturday, that should make the driveway like a skating rink.

WUG is lowering the snow totals for next week. No snow Tuesday, 3-5" on Wednesday and 1-3" Thursday. I can live with that trend.

Back when I did residential plowing, as long as the ground was frozen I would push back as far as I could. In 2015 when we got blasted in February, everyone was running out of room to stack, all my customers still had plenty of room though!

I'm officially out of room in front of my house now. I'm limited in space there. From now on, some gets pushed into my neighbors yard, which I plow for him, and some gets pushed from the front to my back yard....if the ground is firm enough.
