Yeah... lots of idiots out there. I think I heard invoices were to be sent out to cover cost of rescues, depending on IQ.
That’s an oxymoron if I have ever heard/seen one .., You folks getting hammered with snow, ice & brutal cold; take care.
Some of those "idiots" are rescue team members themselves. They're out there to challenge themselves and have the experience and gear to do so. Some of us actually have to do the job we are trained and paid to do.
First pic from Sunday during height of storm Pic taken yesterday morning. I didn't measure but according to the local news our town got 11.5" which was the lowest among towns/cities they listed. 11.5" too much if you ask me!!! EDIT: I just went on their website and it shows 14.6" for my town. 11.5" is what they said on the air.
Watching weather with the wife. A lot of negative in lows and teens as highs. Not severe weather just Chilly
I'll just leave this here I used to know a couple of people that only had a motorcycle for transportation and would see them out in all weather (one worked for the HD shop that used to bein Concord). I saw another picture on FB, just a couple of days after the last storm that featured a different bike (IIRC) and the roads still having snow on them. I'd guess studded tires. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a screen shot of that one.
We had tornado warnings here earlier this morning and from all appearances it looked inevitable, but passed on without any apparent damages. Moved pretty quickly off to our NE. Just overcast and rain now, need the rain so that is appreciated
Just think of how much more wood you will now get after this Think I might text my tree guy, this could be a good one!
That storm is working its way thru my area. After the rain it’s supposed to turn into snow Always remember you can’t count on it not snowing until after mothers day
Here in South Jersey we are getting hammered with heavy rain. Par for the course this time of year, we'll be cutting the grass by April 1st!
I'm just glad it's too warm here to snow. I'll take the heavy rain, flooded backyard, and gusty winds over another 1 foot+ snowstorm this year My yard is finally 95% snow-free and the flowers are just starting to pop up.
Nope I’ll take snow any day over rain at 34* so much easier on the livestock and easier to feed in snow vs mud! We went from 80 to 15 in 48 hours and will go back to 80 by Thursday!
