We hope rains like last night miss us too, our town has 5 to 6 roads that are washed out from a report I saw tonight.
NOAA's forecast is between 0.50 and a 1.00 of rain, Accu is calling for 0.51 when I just checked. Today is nice with everything else coming in later.
Tornado warning, not too far from us. Radar shows rotation. Nothing on the ground spotted. Pouring here now. No thunder.
As the line of storms went overhead, it dumped a quick 1.5 inches of rain. Strong winds in the are brought down trees. A non-event here. It left us with a dewpt of 74⁰ ugh. Lower tonight.
We received 8 mm overnight and another quick 4 mm when I was having a fire outside, 0.472 of an inch of rain for a total. This morning our temp was 61.3 with our high at 67.5 with some strong wind gust.
Some people in NH got 3-5" of rain in a very short amount of time yesterday (some said 45 minutes). I got 1/8" but most of that was from the drizzle overnight. It's been soupy here all week but finally a drier air mass came thru last night.
