We got .77 inches of rain last night along with some hail. Thunder was continuous. Some of the hail was a bit bigger than what we would normally see. I took these pics after it stopped raining. Hail was on my deck. lost power for just over 6 hours. Gen set rain fine.

That's way too large to be falling from the sky!

Watching the radar closely! Looks like a bunch of cells heading towards us from NY state.

Did not see anything broken today. It helps when you have steel shingles and steel siding.

Rain and a little thunder and lightning just came thru here.
We could use the rain, everything is quite dry.

We got just under an inch of rain with thunder, right at sunset yesterday.

Nice air in place for a few days.....finally!

Picked up an inch yesterday evening. No flooding thankfully. Woke up to sunshine, temps in the mid 50’s a nice breeze.

We had 48.9 this morning, felt great. Nothing like working outside without be bothered by the bugs.

I just check our weather for this week when I saw this, I'm sure the totals will change but today they have us getting over an inch on Friday.

More clouds than sun; more humid with a couple of showers and a heavy thunderstorm; watch for flooding. The info is from AccuWeather.

Same here Skier76 , August is usually one of our drier months in this area.
