Just go a severe weather alert this area, Augusta Me. until. 12 Am Tuesday. So that means I've got to get off my fat backside and go get a few more bags of pellets in and pick up anything still sitting around that will be in the way of snow removal. Yuk......

We got caught with our pants down around here today. It was only supposed to be a light wintry mix but it turned into 6"+ in less than 4hrs. So after jetting out a blockage in my main line at home for 2 hrs, I ran into work around 12:30 to throw the plows on and clear some of the lots until the scheduled event was over. We called it quits an hr ago and will head back in at midnight. Of course it's supposed to change over to rain around 1am.

Been snowing all afternoon here. We probably only have 2 inches at the most. Did one pass with the snowblower. Going back out at 8 or so. Might as well give the snowblower a workout.

Under duress, I got the snow blower out of the shed today. Ran it, checked it over and put it in its winter home...the garage. Also got the snow shovels down from the rafters. :( Hope I dont need it tomorrow.

That reminds me..I better go put the snow brush in the truck now, before I forget.

I think we are next on the list, the NE. Starting tonight after midnight as snow changing over during the rayon the SS and islands. Up north and west of Boston should stay all snow.

LOL. Anything is more than I wanted. Daughter is too young to go sledding, and I don't own or have access to a snow mobile. Would like to head up to Wisconsin for some skiing maybe even this month before I get buried in tax returns, but I'm not the most coordinated and don't want to be laid up with broken bones before my busiest and most profitable time of the year coming up.....:p

That would be a handy bucket for moving firewood.

Not too bad. Snow mixing back and forth with rain. Driving isnt bad as long as you remember that this is still slippery, of course that means that there have been numerous accidents due to the built in forgetter that some have around here during the first storm of the season.

Light snow here, but I haven't opened the door but to let the dogs in and out. Down in here off from the main road, we don't have any idea how the traffic is moving. Looked on the news stations. Many PM and school activities are cancelled. Grand daughter in a school "winter concert" tonight, so far not listed among those cancelled. As much as the wife and I would like to see it, I am thinking I'll stay in. We live on a fairly steep hill on the side of another steep hill. Not anxious to get stuck, or to ricks falling.

Getting back to normal here, no weather alerts.
To be near Zero° Wednesday night.
Teens for highs, single digit lows after that. "The norm"
