Seized Bar Sprocket?

    Thanks,all! I bought another bar. While it is a Husqvarna bar it's a blue box cheap version. It does not have a grease port. The nearest Husqvarna dealer is at the other end of the County, in a direction I never go. I'll see what the local small engine guy can get. He's an Echo dealer.
    I did soak the end of the bar in penetrating oil, no joy, it's fried!

    Joe, while your suggestion was tongue- in-cheek; it did pique my Impulsive Curiosity! What would happen if the cooked bar was run on a 80-90cc saw? Shrapnel?

    Far as I know of, all Echo bars have a grease port for the sprocket nose. I do believe they are all Oregon bars as well.
