    Lit two of the seven brush piles I have from the track hoe clearing fence. Big pile will wait for next winter.

    For got the hot dogs... but have a cold one:cheers: and "(Goast) Riders In The Sky" on the radio... A good night.

    That is an INCREDIBLE picture of that little one!!! Frame that one!
    Moistened my eyes thinking about my youngster (15 now)who lives with his mom & her boyfriend in DC now. Hasn't called since last year!
    Sorry Farm, didn't mean to get all mushed up and hijack ya new thread!
    Back to it- burning those piles in a rocket stove would = no lost btu's :thumbs::yes:

    Get a pile of fire brick (~50 pcs) and build a basic batch box rocket stove in the back yard! Amazing what even a leaky brick job will do!

    Well, that brush pile in the picture was 3-4 times bigger than my truck, there are 3 more that are bigger... either I'd have to build the world's biggest rocket fire stove.... or it would take me a life time to get it all burnt up.

    Just took the dogs out and checked that burn pile... yeah not much burnt... wife won't be happy but the brush fires will have to wait till winter.

    I've burned more than one brush pile that had a flaming rabbit come rocketing out of it...

    I always jump on them a couple times to try and scare them out. Seems there is always at least one dumb one...
