I took all of these pictures in Utah last spring. Can you see the "trees" on the ledge above, or am I the only one with a little imagination? A minuscule amount of rain slowly carries the eroding rock down to this ledge, forming these. A warm, sunny road trip sounds pretty good right now, right? Not sure we even have any active members in Utah? "A hell of a place to loose a cow."
Gorgeous pictures. Hard to see how people moved through this area before roads were built. Trail blazing must have been hard.
I've seen the tree formations! We spent 3 weeks in Utah last October, it is an amazing place. Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, the slot canyons, they're all beautiful, it's an extra bonus to explore the off the beaten paths in a jeep.
