Seabass and Ling

Went out for seabass yesterday with my brother in law and a buddy. After dealing with rougher seas than forecasted and a slow bite for most of the morning we finally found some fish. Ended up with 8 seabass and two ling. Definitely a good day on the water!

 

I know that skyline pretty well! Great to get out on the water and put a few in the box. I love me some sea bass.

 

You fish out of AC often?

 

I have a buddy that docks his boat at the Golden Nugget Marina, Only problem is it is to far for me to get out there!! I will make it for a tuna trip hopefully in the fall!

 

I have a friend with a boat there too. "Cheryl Lynne" . He just posted pics yesterday with some bluefin. They're showing up!

Yeah, I am a member on a FaceBook Page NJ Offshore Fishing Reports Page and it looks like they are killing the tuna right now. One guy said "if you head out and come back skunked you should give your boat away and quit fishing!!"

I will tell him to look for the Cheryl Lynne, Probably a much nicer boat than my buddy's, but he gets the job done!

 

Hey it ain't always the size of the boat or how fancy it is that matters!

 

No doubt, it's about how many fish come over the rails!!
