Scraping and Sanding

The front porch is finished except for a few areas of ultra white on some 4x4's. The woodland green that we picked out for the 2 x 10 really makes the ultra white on the railings pop.

Hopefully by the end of the month, I can get back cutting or splitting. I should have a better idea on Monday morning.

 

In behind the downspout needs one more coat of ultra white paint, today was the first coat. After that is done, I'll get one more coat of woodland green on the sides of the steps and put the molding back on and that will be it for the front porch.

Once the above is done, I plan on cleaning the TimberTech on the front porch before winter. For some reason this year, we haven't had chit for skeeters or any black flies so sitting on the front porch is nice.

I had planned on painting one or both of the man doors but we'll see what type of weather we'll be getting the rest of August and September.

 

I finished the little bit that was left on the front porch today, the painting there is finally done.
