The owner gave me these trees as well, I asked a friend and he said it was cherry. He said get it all that it’s good firewood as well. B4ECE9B9-6ACD-4F86-A1C3-739A8BC65E04.jpeg A6B570AD-008C-46CD-83D6-4FCC27AB2209.jpeg 8EA28205-828E-41C6-A20B-ADBDD66B3BB7.jpeg

You hit the jackpot there! Cherry is good firewood & seasons fast. Keep some smaller stuff if you have a smoker too. Now, about that 064, if you ever feel the need to part with it, I know a guy (me) that would be very interested. Nice work!

That's a beauty there, mine's not quite as purdy, but it's a pretty fresh rebuild & still my favorite saw.

I used to have one identical to this, but it was metal tag. I ended up selling it to a friend that worried the crap out of me.

All done with the tree, now just have to get it gone. That’s where I’ll do my final splitting and stacking. 81BA63E5-7FF2-48A4-905F-DD5A22B86111.jpeg 65AFAD60-0E08-4108-9A07-B670CE768D2F.jpeg

That’s a mix of southern red oak, poplar, and mostly white oak.

Well brad I already consider you my buddy. I’ve never met you, but I’ve learned a lot from you and others on this forum. I pay attention to what you guys do, and if I don’t know I ask. This site has really helped me in more ways then one.
