Funny you should mention that. Sold the Husky 455 today for $350. That included a new 20" rs chain I put on there after cleaning it up in the parts washer and replacing the fuel filter and air filters, checking the spark plug, etc. Didn't need much work at all.

I have an 028 WB, 034 Super, ms460, a makita 36v. I think I've got a nice range. Plus the 028 has sentimental value to me.

Anyone interested in purchasing an 026? :D

What are you asking for the 026? Post it in the FHC classifieds.

I still own my circa 1992 026 (red lever) Used it exclusively from 93-2010

I don't know yet. Have to get it tuned and make sure everything is good to go and do some cutting with it first. But I will consider listing it.

The 026 is a nice little saw. I don't use it much but I like having it around for times someone's helping me.

Took the saw almost all the way down to give it a real good cleaning in the parts washer. It was filthy.

Ran the carb through the ultrasonic using naptha inside of a beaker surrounded by water and that really cleared things up. Didn't need a carb kit.

Had a spare stiff oil hose kit with the spring and ferrule (from when I rebuilt my 034 Super) and that worked out perfectly. I did mess up the first time and learned my lesson. Luckily I had enough hose to give it a second try. Used a heat gun to soften up that stiff line just enough.

Put it back together this morning and she runs and oils. Came with a brand new never been sharpened RS 16" chain.

    Here are the before pics.

And here are the after pics from this morning.

The only thing missing is the cover for the tank vent. The rubber flap had a tiny tear in it but it does not appear to be leaking at the moment so I'll just leave it for now.

And here's a quick video of it running and oiling.
