    The only hardwood pellets I've ever seen around here go in my Traegers and those are from Bear Mountain.

    If I see the PTL at Lowe's again, I look at the bag.

    Hot and super clean burning. Zero clinkers and I scrape the burn pot for something to do. I'm may see how long it takes this year to fill it up. I'm guessing it would be over 2 tons before it must be emptied.

    The difference between the DF brands I've tried is the burn pot. All of them are hot with low ash, but crud takes quite awhile to build up with the Packsaddle pellets.

    No. I saw them in Oregon in March when we were traveling and thought about grabbing a few bags. I'm still kicking myself for not making room in the Excursion for them.

    I believe that gains him automatic entry into the pigs club? Do you like how Z paid the same for 10 tons as we would pay for 6? Forget the fact that they are DFs. Try finding ANY pellet around here for $220. That is a scarce thing indeed!
