This would be a great option. Not really considered a pro saw, but it has many of the pro saw features of the 2 series Huskies. Leaps and bounds better than a plastic case homeowner saw. And they last forever properly tuned with good fuel

I agree on the 51. That's a good price on a nice condition 51. They are great saws. I have a 50 and a 55. I wouldn't take 200 for either of them. My 50 is 38 years old and been used a lot and still runs great.

My 55 is going on 20 years of abuse with only a plug change. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one up.

Welcome OP. One option you could look into would be at reputable saw shops...Echo has a '7 day return policy' on their saws if a buyer isn't happy. What happens to the returned saws, I wonder? Perhaps they can be had? Husqvarna has a similar program. Won't cost you much to call your local spots and ask them if those saws can be bought (could be the start of a wonderful relationship with dealer). Not recondidtioned, just returned for whatever reasons.

Edit: Echo only offers on 'arborist' saws...top handles. Husky just says 'professional'.

    Husqvarna Crown Commitment™ Program

Another option would be solicitation here among members who may have a good saw that they don't use much anymore or are looking to change/upgrade. Do you know yet what size you are interested in? 60cc is usually a great choice if you aren't going to run multiple saws.
