Lol, not quite that far into it! Not that's it's a big deal anyway. But saying a chain won't cut filed back that far is silly. And you showed 'em!

I wish I could get my 357 to run like that. I can’t get the bog off idle to go away. I had it on the bench took it apart pulled carb, and the jug, inspected the boot and put a new metal clamp on, changed impulse line. Put it back together and was running good in the shop. Then took it to the “ tired of Brad making me feel bad” score and fought it the whole time. Once in a while it would be fine for a little bit then a minute or two later it would take forever to spool up. I suppose I need to try a kit in the carb

I don’t have any spare carbs (yet) I see HLSupply has OEM ones for $90 or a farmer tech for $30. $90 seems a bit rich for my blood, is the farmer tech worth a shot or would I end up spending $30 and then still have to buy the $90 one
My 345 acted the same way a few years back. Sent it to a dealer and it came back acting the same. But at some point it seems to have cured itself and runs fine

I personally wouldn't buy chinese replacement. I'd rather used oem and sonic clean/rebuild.

I’ll keep it in mind, haven’t got mad enough to give up on this one yet. It’s an opportunity to do some learning
