I am going to be selling my MS290 and MS391 , looking to sell powerhead only. Bars and chains from both will fit other model saws I currently have so would like to hang on to them. Both saws in great shape , my OCD maintenance program has kept them in really good shape! MS290 I am the original owner and know it is a 2012 model year. MS391 I am the second owner and it is also in really nice shape, unsure of what year it is without looking. Can anyone tell me what a fair price for these saws would be. I would prefer to sell them to someone that can use them from here before I go the E-bay or dreaded craigslist route. I can get some pictures when I have a few minutes but trust me ; they are clean saws! Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I’d think it would be easier to sell them with the a bar and chain, unless of course you sell them on here, we tend to have extras around around my parts a clean 290 with b/c will easily go for $300 . I would think around $400-$450 for the 391 with b/c
Based on what ive seen your current price is spot on for the 290. Yours is the nicest ive seen. 391's not offered to often, but around $500 seems a safe price. Throw in a 20" B&C for $50.
MS290 $350 MS391 $450 with a bar and chain ( a little worn but not terrible) 455 Rancher $350 completly redone , new cylinder and piston , new bar and chain , fuel lines , crank seals (anything it needed) never started since rebuilding I will try to get some ads posted and some pictures as soon as I get some time.
No , havent listed them here and not on CL yet. Ms290 is the only one listed as of now. Figured slow and steady one at a time.
