All boxed up and going out about 14:00 this afternoon.

Its fun to see that chain on different saws ........... really makes me want to try something else for that awesome sounding 440

They averaged .040, but that's hand filed RSL, not off the roll

Dang Dex wish I had knew you were going to run saws. I just got busy getting plow and truck and other stuff ready for round 2. So never did get back about meeting at FFF yesterday. Heck I would have just came to your place had I known. :drunk:

    Looks fun. ;):dex:

I tried .040 once and it cost me at a fair race on a ported 79cc. 3 cuts hotstart saw on ground hands on wood at word go.

    Never ever again .040

Same saw at Fife lake MI with better chain and still poor azz operator.

They all look and sound great.
That 440 is an impressive saw for being the underdog

    Nope. It's not..

But... After seeing how it ran against the others? Being so close to the 461?

I'd put it against any 10 mm 044, with D/P, HD2, and RSL with stock angles. ;)

Honestly. It runs good. I have way more into this saw than most would want to pay. But... This is a hobby and I enjoy it.

I did just update the air filter to an HD2... And that is an RSL chain (kinda), and it is a Dual port muff ;) lol   But its a 12 mm... :dex:

I know of another 12 mm that would probably steal a lot of 10 mm saws lunch money.. It ain't pretty. But she is a beast!

I could have almost bought a new 461 for what I have into this saw.

    Clean and early 440

I got a new (to me) 440, and I really like it, but it sure seems underpowered to me. Maybe I need to open up the muffler a little more...

Got a few saws out just to pizz-rev the other day! No cants or even firewood to speak of in the yard. :(
