Don't forget about the Bluetooth earbuds...that way you can take orders the whole time too! (Which a superior being just memorizes, of course!)
Remember ONLY WHITE OAK, red oak is JUNK WOOD, only fit for peons to burn...err, I forgot, he heats his house with it, so must be a royalty wood...
No rest for the Dixie peons... Cut, split and stacked a load on the truck of some 1 yr old oak logs for delivery that wanted some wood to mix with their dry wood......then loaded a tote of 16" seasoned oak/hickory mix on the trailer... We stacked both loads, only took a picture of the tote load to show the widow lady... When we got home, a friend's brother came to pick up a tote of 14" o/h mix... afterwards, I'm and night shift is calling...
Ok, so it's Friday and I'm working 6AM-6PM shift, sales are done for the week unless an emergency shows up... Monday, trailer load went on a road trip to Macon GA That afternoon a new friend came by and picked up Frontier size load... Tuesday, we had deliveries to 2 auto shops, 1 was a new friend... Wednesday afternoon, a new friend that got a tote earlier this year, wanted 3 totes or a bulk load. It went to the far side of our county... Thursday morning, we split a load of 16" oak And an old friend brought the empty tote from last year for a refill... 11 RICKS for the week...only stacked 2 RICKS... We don't wanna grow up, we're a wannabe kids...
Don't ya'll love how TWC can remind folks that winter is coming again, like it always does?? Trailer with 3 tote went out Monday, 2 Tuesday, 2 Wednesday... Tuesday Wednesday...I know it the same picture, I forgot to of the 1st load
What's up with the tarp? Kinda late in the game to not want to get the truck bed dirty, no? Or are you just loading the firewood to keep the tarp from blowing out when you are on the highway?
LOL!!! I normally line the bed with a tarp before a snowfall and just pull it out to remove the snow so the bed is mostly dry. I forgot over the weekend with 3-4" of snow here and didn't want splits to get wet/dirty etc so I used the same tarp. The bed is full of decaying wood schmutz. With it being in the 40's today it was rather sloppy in there.
Ah, a redneck trick to make the truck look full, maybe our Nashville friend should have used this... JBYB, I know you provide a full measure from your stacks, my friend.
Thursday's 3 turned into a 5 tote day... we delivered these... A friend picked up 2 for their Christian Motorcycle Club... My back was tired after this...
