    That's too bad Mike. It is a good PSA reminder. We have chipmunks under the stacks that soften the ground.

    Yup. I've tapped some racks back into being more upright.

    I found what I thought might have been a groundhog hole, a few years ago. I smoked the hole, then stuffed it with ammonia soaked rags before packing dirt back in.

    Well Mike, karmas a b&%$h. I shouldnt have teased you. Was pulling some splits today and discovered this row toppled. Red oak "shorties 10 -14". I think the chunks in the "backfilled" void behind the stack made it lean. Other two rows of 16" maple splits are fine though. I have a bunch of other red oak shorties as well and i want to consolidate them. IMG_2515.JPG

    This was the day a good friend of mine was buried. The funeral was private, family only. I will pay my respects another day.
