I just had undercoating done on my Explorer. I have never had undercoating done before but am hoping this Explorer is the last vehicle I will ever have. From the advice of a bunch of people on the town FB page, I went to a local garage and it was $210 (more if by cc). Turns out they use NH oil undercoating.
That's good...cause if its the old classic "undercoating", like Ziebart, it doesn't work long term...unless, maybe, if you take it in every year and pay them their "cleaning fee" to recoat it...even then, I still think modern rustproofing methods work way better.
Took the F150 to the Mennonite fellow this morning. Here it’s just a side thing doing the rustproofing for him. He’s got a BIG manure spreading business. He got set up to rustproof his own stuff and figured he might as well do a little extra rustproofing since he was set up for it. He had a nice shop with a pit in it. Just drive over it and 15-20 minutes he was done. He charged me $50 since he just did the frame/underbody.
