I'm glad it's running ok  we have a clear sky tonight so I'm thinking we'll get well below zero.

I just put in five nice rounds of Ironwood in the Liberty, once the basement temp hit 80, I came upstairs.

We're at -4 tonight, accuweather has us hitting a low of -5 but I'm thinking we'll get colder.

We have between 2 and 3 inches on the driveway with the snow still coming down, the RTV should be all warmed up after I plugged in the block heater so I'll use that today.

104_1434.JPG I did our driveway and the neighbor's along with a bunch of walking trails in the woods around the house. I noticed some deer under some white pines on my way back from the sandpit .

Picture 1428 is how much snow we had in the driveway, not any heavy chit, 1429 is after I was done with our driveway and went inside for some CD's, 1430 is a new walking trail I cleaned up last summer/fall, 1431 is coming back from the sandpit and the last two should be a few deer.

The most deer I've seen this winter was 20 on the backhill after we had that wet heavy snow, there must've been some maple down.

Great pictures. Always nice to see deer walking thru the woods or lying down for a nap.

We love seeing them, especially the fawns. Hopefully February and March aren't that hard on them.

Just after 2 p.m. today, I'll take Karl out and do some plowing. NOAA is calling for 6 inches on the high end so we're not getting hit hard by the storm.

With the wind and the snow we're getting, the roads are slick.

Even though we didn't get much snow, I took Karl out to do our driveway and some trails around the house. Since my shoulder wasn't feeling great, I sent an email to our neighbor that I wouldn't be doing his today.

We're suppose to get 10 inches of snow from this storm by the time it ends, it looks like we'll get nailed tonight if their forecast is correct.

After I was done plowing with the 4540 we went for a ride, on the way down the driveway the wife mentioned some snow that was left in the driveway so when we came home, I jumped in Karl and plowed a few more trails along with cleaning up the driveway.

After helping the wife with the grocery shopping and getting back only to have a call that our new battery for the generator was in, back north I went to get that, those jobs are done.

When I finally got my work clothes on we put in two loads of mostly beech and sugar maple. After that was done, I moved a chit load of snow from the front yard down into the woods to the north of the house.

After I did the above I decided since we could get another 4-7 inches of snow that I would plow the driveway and plow another trail the wife walks in that I hadn't done. I had the camera ready but walked out of the house without it.

AccuWeather has a second storm dumping 10-15 inches of snow on us, I'm sure (hoping) that they will drop those totals. Tomorrow we'll put in another two loads of beech just in case, if it does happen then we have the wood inside and my time can be spent plowing.

Here are some pictures of plowing from this morning. This was before the Lake Effect snows hit us today.

 Just seeing this thread now. Jealous here! Very nice machine. What a workhorse. Glad for you guys.

I have discussed with my wife in the past about eventually going to a UTV with a hydraulic dump to replace the ATV. That would be after selling the Yamaha Grizzly 550 outright.

Hope you enjoy it and have great reliability with it.

So far it has pushed some very heavy wet snow with a whole bunch of water underneath without any problems. The shifting can be tricky on this RTV but I'm finding out the little tricks that make it shift easier.

The a/c and the heater are great in the X1100C, we had the radio/cd player put in which is nice if you like music.

The Boss V-Plow is a great setup, I would've used it the whole day today except the banks needed pushing back.

I had them install a block heater which has worked out nice when we had a few cold snaps.

Yesterday when I came in from plowing, the house was smelling pretty good, Utica Greens, Stuffed Peppers and some pasta not in the picture.

Picture 1474 is the first of two loads of beech and sugar maple we put in today, the wood in picture 1475 is the beech and sugar maple we plan on burning this February and have been bring in, 1476 is scraping down the driveway , 1477 is where I cleaned out in front of the ironwood and 1478 is the ironwood we have left if needed.

I had only planned on roof raking the westside of the house and remove the snow with Karl, I did that but decided to do the whole house. When I did the northside of the house I had to shovel the path because the waterline runs into the house under the porch so I wanted most of the snow left from there to the well.

The southeast side was loaded with snow but Karl cleared it out so I could roof rake that and remove the snow.

Tomorrow I'll use the 4540 to remove some bigger piles of snow off the southside of the driveway and plow it to the new snow storage area I cleaned out last summer/fall.

Since I didn't plan on doing much, I never took the camera.

With the next two storms capable of dumping a total of two feet of snow on us, we decided to put in what was left of our February firewood. That was the last of the beech, sugar and red maple.

If we get hit hard tonight and tomorrow, we have our firewood in for this month and I can plow all the areas I usually do and not worry about getting firewood in.

I cleaned up the 2 to 3 inches of snow on the driveway and plowed a bunch of trails in the woods. The next system coming in will only drop 1-3 inches of snow on our area unless the forecast changes.

We had just over two inches of snow so I removed that from the driveway.

Picture 1528 I'm just getting started, 1529 is pushing the snow to the southside of our driveway, 1530 is some branches that came down yesterday, I moved those so I could plow in that area,1532 is the first of two smaller loads of wood we put in and the last picture is the next two years worth of firewood, 24 face cord of ash.
