*Update* a lot of swelling finally went down, but I've been laying down for 2 days straight. My doctor said I may need to have a procedure done, if the swelling doesn't go down enough, I guess a drain and pack and/or checking on the clot situation. This had me concerned, so I've been off my feet. Bruising is just starting. The hump is the swelling still, not my knee.....Lol 20140529_173251.jpg

About 16 years ago, I fell when a 10' ladder slipped out from under me while I was getting up to a barn loft. I went right out straight and slammed down on the ladder and the floor. I jumped right up and made like it didn't happen... :emb: I ended up with a hematoma the size of half of a softball on my left hip, and it turned black for a couple months. It finally went away, but it took over a year. When I see YouTube vids of guys doing crazy stunts on purpose and then crash and burn bad... whew, gotta hurt.

Those bruises run through a rainbow of colors as you get better. When I was a medic in Viet Nam, I saw about every part of the body bruised. Parts that you wouldn't think about being bruised. Poor guys. At least they lived to fight another time.
