    Ok folks, check this out! I put new line on the soot eater today and swept. The old line was under 5 inches! I expected more crap this year because of this, but not this much more! 3 gallons worth or so! The top of that pile is 8 inches, firebox is 18" across and around 12" deep!

    Reamed out the pipe today, got a little less stuff out then I did last year.
    But I made a boo boo, forgot to take the probe out:hair::headbang:

    I shoved some ashes to the back so I would have a layer of ash when I was done

    Bent it up a little bit but, no worries though , probe straightened right out.
    Seems to be working just fine

    What probe are you talking about?

    oh I get right in there man !! just got dirty, no injuries.
    I have to take the bricks and the tubes out of the top of the stove.

    The probe is for the digital thermometer
