Interestingly enough, my P43 will entirely empty versus the P61a which will get a few pellets stuck in the corners. Of course I've never burned AWF's so maybe there is something going on with those pellets that would change my experience. If anyone wants to give me some AWF's, I'd be happy to conduct that experiment :D

Burned Indeck softies until the local lumber yard ran out... now I'm on Hay Creek hardwoods and I bought a couple bags of el cheapo 'economy' grade hardwoods from the local Farm and Barn store... they burn good, too! Those come from American Wood Fibers made in Wausau, WI.

I got around to dig out the Eagle Valley's so it's in the hopper, nowhere near the Lacrete's heat:doh: The Spruce Pointe's and Eagle Valley's were stored in a unheated outside storage on skids, can the cold add humidity to them is the question? They had the skid wrapper and liner on the bottom.....

I store a couple of tons in an unheated garage and have to hand stack them to get them in there. Do not wrap them back up, just put them on a skid with the liner on the bottom. Oh yeah, and the garage gets plenty of water in it whenever there is rain or snow melts and it all runs to the back where the sump is - and the skids are right next to the sump.

And, after all that, I've never had an issue burning the pellets. Also store several tons out in the yard . . .

They store them outside at the manufacturer's and dealer's yard. I guess I'm second guessing my choice of storage:picard:
You would think the Spruce Pointe's and Eagle Valley's would be at par with Lacrete's but I gather not:whistle:

compare the quantitive values of each (from the test data) and you should be able to tell pretty quickly......I have no data on them here (I dont sell any of the above)

I was thinking about buying a ton next year but they're only $5 less than LaCrete so maybe not.
