When I was younger (and that covers a lot of territory) I was into Lapidary as a small hobby. It is amazing to see the transformation from "in the rough" to a polished product!

    Thanks.

Not sure what she (we'll) do with them. She liked rocks and aquarium gravel since she was a tot, then WWW took her rock hounding for gold several summers. Many rocks here are covered in calcium and other minerals, amazing whats underneath after that is polished off. Here is one of the few places that floor crust of the ancient oceans still remains (lack of water to permeate it, thus most the water underneath is super salty and too many minerals for softener for wells etc.) Some of the oldest rocks in the US .

And yes TurboDiesel , a sample jewelry making pack came with the kit. WWW is Thinking matching earrings for kiddo and myself :)

Using clear gorilla glue, put them around a small mirror. Glue a necklace finding on one of them to make granddaughter gift for grandmother.

We are on the last step out of a week each out of 4 steps. Last is detergent. I don't have bar ivory soap Dreft laundry detergent as the mfg'r recommends, but I do have borax and Gain laundry detergent. I also have an ancient box of dishwashing crystals but will not leaning towards that. Any ideas on what to use?

    Instructions are:

I'm leaning towards Borax, what do you think? :sherlock:
ETA, I also have TSP and Arm & Hammer washing Soda. I have not experience with any of them. Thanks for any advice :)
