$7.99/gallon at blains this morning.

 

$14.99 @ a Tractor Supply Wednesday when I stopped. Glad I'm fully stocked as I see it continue to drop.

No. Their County Line was $14.99, and that was the Frederick MD store. Online closest to me shows $13.99.

 

At woods has Super S for $7.49 a gallon, HK for $7.49 a gallon and HK $13.99 for 2 gallons. Picked up a gallon of Super S for a tackiness test between the 2. Although the price is only posted for the HK, I confirmed all prices with an associate.

 

Super s $8.99/gallon at menards this evening. Grabbed one. Only 2-3 more left on the shelf

 

Not sure if this is the best stuff or not, but gonna give it a try. I'm talking about the bar oil. Although, I think the trufuel may not be a bad deal either.

I went to order what I generally use for mix oil (lucas semi synthetic) and it went up to 37 dollars a gallon on amazon. Last time I bought it was in the winter of last year and it was 27 for a gallon. I picked up four gallons then. I ended up buying 4 gallons of red armour for 60 a gallon, because my profits were so good on my own hoard. I'm considering buying another 4 gallons with the way prices are going up.

I called around and can't find 2 stoke oil cheaper than amazon in my area. Darn inflation.

 

I've never used the premixed fuel, heard good things though. I've had decent luck with 91 octane ethanol free and the stihl advanced synthetic oil (whatever is in the silver bottles).

 

10.99 BOGO.. I'd stock up and figure it out later. I've loaded up on one brand I wasn't fond of and I later got a case of some real premium stuff so I ended up mixing the 2 for better results. Reason I didn't like the cheap one was a lack of tackifier and overall "runny-ness".

 

$7.99 at Menards this last weekend. It's good bar oil too. Just 'tacky' enough for my likes. Picked up 5 one gallon jugs.

Around here they call it Recreational Gasoline and charge more for it...lol I also use the Stihl pre mixed small bottles. It has fuel stabilizer in it as well.

 

Not one of my saws will run correctly on the pre made (paint thinner) pre mix fuel. I think it's overpriced junk myself.

 

Sorry I messed that up. I have never used premixed fuel either. I'd be broke real fast.

 

Yeah we have one two towns over acutually. I'll check that our. conventional stihl oil use to be castrol I believe. But maybe not anymore.

 

The flyer came in the mail with all the other coupons and junk mail. Just happened to see it in there before everything hit the recycler.

 

Just looked online at O'Reily's. They have nothing but snowmobile oil, but I can order it with a online coupon worth 20 percent off if I spend 125.00. I'm going to do it just to have on hand. The first four gallons of red armour has already shipped from amazon, but I canceled the other order and will get several gallons of the castrol too. Thanks for the tip off.

 

Its good oil. It along with 3 others are the only 4 out of 30 plus oils that allowed damage free engines through 8.5 - 9 hours at 200:1 and 300:1.
