    Verizon didn't even re-attach theirs; I don't use land lines anymore anyway.

    Most of use here are a hardy bunch & will be warm & eat well
    during the event.
    Having a few real winter storms don't scare us much,

    Nice thing a bout lots of predictions, up & down the spectrum,
    one will be right & get a lot of attention from the media . :)

    Ok, here is the critical item list for surviving anything:

    TP check levels twice a day, when below 40 rolls panic and restock, if you let it get below 20 rolls check into the nearest nursing home something is wrong in your body from the neck up.

    One of the local TV news personalities said it best when talking about the run on bread milk and TP when snow is forcast:
    "All I need to stock up on is beer and Twinkies."

    We make a run to Sam's once or twice a year and get a voluminous amount of TP, which lasts a minute or 2.

    With the new powdered water and all dry beer making ingredients, it is easy to stockpile what is needed as for the Twinkies they have an indefinite shelf life. Should always have plenty of them on hand, no need to run to the stores just before a "major" storm. Must be a city thing.
