    Hope you enjoy it.

    Be careful not to scorch the sugar on the bottom, stir often.
    Don't worry about taste testing it while its cooking or hot. It tastes completely different after it cools.

    Can i mix/premix and dissolve in the water? Helps keeps the sugar burns down

    Yes. Put it all together. Bring it to a low simmer and stir it every couple minutes.

    I just realized I wrote Franks Red hot on the recipe and it should have been Texas Pete's...:emb:

    Probably wont make any difference, but...

    Was just looking through and saw these ABT's.
    We had a good jalapeno pepper crop this year and we made a few hundred of them.
    yummy!
    We froze most of these and pull out a baggy every couple weeks 20201017_175258.jpg
