Be careful not to scorch the sugar on the bottom, stir often.
Don't worry about taste testing it while its cooking or hot. It tastes completely different after it cools.
Can i mix/premix and dissolve in the water? Helps keeps the sugar burns down
Yes. Put it all together. Bring it to a low simmer and stir it every couple minutes.
I just realized I wrote Franks Red hot on the recipe and it should have been Texas Pete's...
Probably wont make any difference, but...
If it is a decent buffalo sauce i'll use it
Texas Pete's Original is just a hot sauce.
