I'll be on the Echo side of things here too ! Had an Echo cs400 with a 16 and 18 inch bar. It was great ! I cut lots of trees with it. Kind of miss it alot !
I'd say the cs400 or cs490. Have the carb turned right by someone who knows what they are doing....and you will never have a problem. Good luck !

Craftsman wasn't always crap. This 3.7 thin ring is a good example of there past.

 

The ultra rare convertible version too.....

 

I got it from a guy at a GTG someone dropped a tree on it. Its in decent shape for what it's been through.

 

I like it.

 

I have a soft spot for the countervibes weather they be red, green, or grey.
