Someday is soon, thanks for the encouragement Despite 4 months of being in the RV I am still getting bruises from bumping into things in such close quarters. Love the all the cabinet storage, tired of the decorators cabinet pulls We will be back to microwave and hotplate for awhile but I've been there seen it done it........It will be fine thanks fellow WW!
They love to horseplay. the smaller black one absolutely dominates the large blonde one.....go figure. I think they are tired of being cooped up in the RV too, as I am mostly in it and they rarely leave my side.
We started two new stoves. The stink only lasted a day or so, it wasn't too bad. Or maybe I was too excited to allow any negative thought to register. We are very impressed with our p68. It really cranks out the heat. The window view offered a good view of a fan shaped fire. One important thing to remember is not to let the plastic pellet bags come in contact with the stove. Melted plastic is hard to remove without damage to the stoves finish.
Good Advice, Thanks! My previous experience was with woodstove.... Had to have it sandblasted then painted, went beige 10 years later (not so appealing lol) and back to black metallic. We really cranked that old stove so it actually gave off a stinky odor/vapor or something. I just heard from Dear Husband that it's negligable compared to our previous experiences.
they busted her in a different thread... http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/for...n-p68-opinions-needed.5182/page-4#post-152765
Darling toddler has daycare tomorrow. Once I decipher the correct breakers on the new fuse panel I will put it in....(fuse panel is new too, after I finally mastered the three old ones to identify which space heaters I could use at the same time last winter ) I cannot do most physical things anymore but I can still think and that particular outlet is just my height!
Friday! Electrician (fantastic BTW My IS heats my home ) is coming for the last time (hopefully) tomorrow to hook up double oven, cooktop and cooktop exhaust vent. He's older, knows when to gently suggest ideas to younger other subs, priceless! My new toy basod should be delivered too so I *hope* to have the new dishwasher up and running too! GE also sent me a new solenoid, as I cannot think of anything else to prevent the valve from opening, so its here if I need it. NOW I getting excited Lots of crap, I mean stuff to walk around til the cabinets are up but 1800sq ft heated is so much easier to navigate, especially with the lil one. I want coffee from a real mug, tired of the foam cups And real meals. Had stouffers lasagne in convection microwave tonight. Again. Just not the same. We have all winter to paint, just a few cabinets left to set, and lay the pergo. He has more snow days here than we ever knew in Colorado. New pellet stove is performing great, he adds bags as needed, thanks darlin' but so far its been on low speed I found a great young man to help around the house. He brings his six month old with him and is willing and able to do hard labor. I might ask him to paint.... I have paid him over $300 so far for help around the yard and construction clean up etc, and the remaining 2.5 tons of pellets arent even available at the dealers yet! Then my husband offered him a WELL paying job at his company, but he declined.... So I will offer more work for him when we are in a position to unpack my previous homes furniture and things, so many duplicates many need to go. He has a giant truck (GMC6500?) with tie down straps to make large runs to goodwill for me Dear husband wasn't keen on the idea at first but he is thrilled with the progress as he works himself to the bone to take care of us, the trash and clean up always is bottom of priority list when he falls asleep sitting up in his chair at night.
That was quite the story wildwest . You touched on every project that's going on and some other stuff. AND, you have have a handy man/laborer doing additional things as needed, almost like having a pool boy ( cuz he's so young ). Must feel good when DH can't always be there and the guy needed a little extra income. Everybody wins!
