    Hi Slvblkk
I installed a PTech similar to the Fasco closed frame that I had hanging around but If I were you, I would install a Hi Quality open frame 1.75 Amp Gleason Avery with the 9 petal tall impeller quadrafire blade. :)

    All done
Is this a better refurbish with the door and grill ceramic coated?
New shinny door latches too. :)
New graphite impregnated fire door gasket. :)

Kinda late to the party here but I think it's pretty clear this is a used stove that has been 'refurbished' as opposed to the one's Englander sells that may have been warranty returns, new stoves with defects, etc.

Earth Sense has a great service dept.... but don't expect any big discounts or deals except during 'sales'. I bought my St Croix there in Dec of '06 for $900.00 and it's still going strong (although it needs a new board). They pre-burn every new and used stove that they sell. They also disassemble the used units and really go thru them.

    End of unpaid advertising.

The paint does fade from the heat. So painting the stove after 4 or 5 years makes it look like brand new.
Is that something you might do?
