    Still have the 241. It's a great saw and very light, but I wanted something a little bigger for the big oaks. The 362 fell right in my lap. I'll be bringing both saws and the quad and splitter

    I'd say Northern Red Oak, although it is a little hard to ID the tree based on the small piece of bark in the photo. Definitely oak.

    The grain in the second set of pics is a dead giveaway for red oak.

    After it dries, it doesnt smell so bad.
