    cut oak rounds from last red maple score earlier that day. Keep all the oak separate (or at least try to) Black gum log on tailboard.

    couple bigger logs i had to flip flop onto the truck. I had talke to a lady there and she insisted i NOT use the saw and not make any more divets in her yard. IMG_0933.JPG

    Yesterdays load. I did get some wood besides the nuts imwiley1 Couldve grabbed a couple more but am tired of gnarly oak and oak nuggets.

    I don't see the "pins" on those leaves & Black Oak has a very different bark, deeper furrows and almost woven like White Ash so, my guess is Scarlet Oak. Would help to see a cross section of a round. Some have very different sapwood/heartwood characteristics.
