Red Oak/Cherry and Maple On Craigslist

    Got there just in the nick of time as one guy was pulling away fully loaded and another guy was loading his pickup and trailer. Managed to get some real nice Water Oak/Red Oak, Cherry and some Maple.

    He had enough to fill my truck at least six times. As I was leaving a commercial tree guy was getting ready to get the rest.

    I have checked craigslist for free firewood and in my area and most guys are only selling. And it seems that the going rate is $100 per chord( usually split and seasoned. Anyone else know of a website or something to find free wood?

    Unless you don't do Facebook, that is the place to find free/cheap wood. On Craigslist change your wording when looking for wood. IE, free wood,
    free fire wood, firewood free. You may come up with different results depending how you word it.
