Jill’s “jugs” have sidetracked this topic! Lol.

Let’s get back on topic or we can start a separate thread about the no spill cans. :salute:

However, the vids were pleasing and I’m going to go buy a few.

Very common occurrence here for threads to quickly get off track. Almost kind of the norm.

    Update:

A decision and purchase has been made. Roll the drum please ….

    and the new saw is

an Echo 355T with 14” bar!

I know I initially said I wanted another rear handle saw but the shop fixed both Stihl 018’S that needed fixing. I’ll keep using them till they blow up.

spoke to my local dealer who carries all 3 brands and initially I had zero interest in a top handle saw but he made some good points. I don’t own one so decided to add it to the stable.

plus, a good friend owns a landscape business and is part of Echo’s fleet program so I got 15% off!

Congrats on the new saw! Wanna see pics of it in action.

A top handle will be a game changer and you will love it once you get used to it. Perfect for working in tight tangles when limbing. One handed not recommended, but can be done if careful.

15% off may have had me buying an Echo as well. There was an Echo 2511 top handle (the tiny one) for sale on FBM recently here and i had considered it.

Somehow I missed this thread. I have 3 Echos and no real complaints I always run ethanol free or engineered fuel fwiw. Beat the pizz out of my 310 even ran a tank through it once with no bar oil. Leave them stock and in my experience theyll treat you great. Theyre sort of the AK of chainsaws not the lightest, fastest etc but always start.
