    Close to a cord under cover, 3 rows deep. Dropped the cat today, all is well, new cat wrap gasket and cat frame gasket, then back together. Bring on the cold & snow. 20171014_134801.jpg

    No not all locust, just about any hardwood that comes to mind is mixed in there. I don't separate by species, it all makes heat. I might pick through a bit and burn oak, hickory or locust on the coldest days.

    Looking good my friend!..I haven't hauled a single split up to the stoop yet, waiting for some cooler weather til I do that.....after the spiders and such are dormant.

    Some of us are specific some not, I like you like to think wood varieties are the spice of life. No one wood is better than the other, some just stick around a little longer. :)

    Good for you. Since you are waiting for the cold to hit and don't have anything else to do you can come and help me move mine under cover. :handshake: It's only about 8 to 9 cord.:D

    Tomorrow 55 for a high and 37 at night......it's around the corner. Supposed to be a little warmer then 30's at night next week, so maybe the first fire next week, doubt that I will mess with it for one cold one tomorrow.
