The Ents would be very angry if they saw (no pun intended) my back yard :)

Come, my friends. The Ents are going to war. It is likely that we go to our doom. The last march of the Ents.

I think you should go get the other load today! Bring the flash and spot lights!
Looks like a splitting party is in your near future as well.
Was that your cutting or his?
    Nicely done BTW!

Had a choice today between Sycamore and swamp maple. Decided to try Sycamore. Never had it before and let’s just say I’m Sycamore of it. Man this stuff is the heaviest wood i think I’ve ever lifted. I hope I didn’t make a mistake...seems full of H2O. Whoooooood! I’m done for the day.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'll find out about sycamore when you try to split it. Its worse than elm even with a hydro from what ive been told. I hand split a couple smaller rounds a few years back and said never again!
Nice score regardless! WHOOOOOOD! Hoard on my friend!

There were several hoarders there and only a few wanted the Sycamore. They were all waiting for the glorious swamp maple. I was ok to take what was available and it has slightly higher BTUs than silver maple. Time will tell. My trailer was feeling the weight. Whoooooooood!
