This is how we hiked down into a canyon a few years back. I ended up with some real good scrapes on myself. the less "robust" people on the hike went unscathed! It was a neat place to go (Colorado) but was very hot. Lots of flint specimens on the ground. I should have mentioned that the trail cuts through that split in the rock wall you see. Had to walk/climb/stumble/fall sideways to get through!!!
This boulder is (was) in the Yellowstone river. We stayed in Gardner Montana and spotted it for the first time back in the 90's. The pic is from the late 20-teens. After the bad flood that was there this year, I'm wondering how far downstream the boulder now rests.

Barn find these are rare these days dt250 trials This is a 1300.00 wounded deer tracking dog that was trained to find deer that had run off after being shot.
