I only buy 100lb bags. If you think that price is bad, tractor supply is almost $10 for a 50lb bag of livestock corn. Even worse is if you buy tsc “deer” corn. 40lb bag for $8.99. I buy livestock corn and the deer don’t seem to mind. Least expensive is to know a farmer and buy from them. The bags are about 50 cents apiece. If you bring your own bag it can bring the cost down a little more.
I agree. A little high for oats too, the soybean meal isn't horribly priced. I paid .30 cent a pound a few weeks ago at the local mill for mine. I bought way too much whole shell corn from a friend. I'd sell you 20 - 30 bushels for $5.50 a bushel, PM me if you are interested. Not sure where you are located at in OH, I'm north of Columbus by about 30 miles.
He's 5-10 minutes down the street from me (east) if you are going by my place it would kinda be on the way to Copley
Yeah...local guy peddles feed and bird seed. Soon to be son in law keeps a gravity wagon full...makes it nice for my deer stands on his property
